Book Blurb

Dressed as a Dark Elf with midnight blue body paint and a set of chainmail-and-leather armor, Josh Ingram feels more at home among his fellow gamers at the local gaming convention than he ever has anywhere else.

Faron Krius is an Ichthian detective on the hunt for a murder suspect. He tracks the fugitive to Earth and follows the man right into a local gathering of video game enthusiasts. Now Faron has to wade through throngs of people, including one young -- and very human -- man who greatly resembles Ichthia's most wanted murderer.

Is it a case of mistaken identity? Or is there a damn good reason why Josh has always felt out of place?

Book Review

Gaming conventions are a world of their own, even in our reality, but in this series there is one that outshines them all. Earth Con is not just for humans pretending to be aliens and supernatural creatures by dressing in costumes, it is also a hiding place as well as a place to mingle for real aliens. It offers a hoe to a variation of types, some of them criminals, and the officers of the law who hunt them.
Faron is an Ichthian detective looking for a brutal murderer. When his chief sends him to Earth Con, since they suspect that’s where the criminal is trying to hide, Faron isn’t too enthusiastic. But when he meets Josh, his interest levels rise for more than one reason. The human id good-looking, enthusiastic, and ready to help with Faron’s mission once a fw misunderstandings have been cleared up.

Josh just wants to have some fun at the best con around, and comes well prepared with a costume, accessories, and a willingness to play. When things suddenly become serious he isn’t enthusiastic, but is he going to turn down the hunky stranger with the ocean-blue eyes? Heck, no. Josh has a well-developed sense of adventure, and none of the scary events that follow can stop him from taking serious interest in Faron.

If you like stories with some adventurous fun, an interspecies meeting of minds and very hot bodies, and if you’re looking for a read that contains tension, s few dangerous moments, and some very hot man-on-alien action in the bedroom, then you might like this short story.
