Book Blurb

Hawk is an enforcer for the Salvation Kings MC. He's used to doing odd jobs for his president, but he never expected to be protecting the brother of one of King’s old army buddies. When Hawk meets Elijah, his world is turned upside down. He never thought he’d need anything other than his club and his brothers, but Elijah makes him want so much more. With every second spent with Elijah, he falls a little bit more in love.

Elijah is a teacher at a school for deaf and hard-of-hearing children. He never expected to get involved with a motorcycle club but, then again, he never thought he’d stumble over a man dumping a body either. He got the man sent to jail but while he waits for the trial to begin, he’s noticed someone stalking him. The last thing he wants is someone else following him around all day, but Hawk won’t take no for an answer. Elijah knows Hawk is dangerous, but during their time together, he gets to know a man he could easily imagine a life with.

With a murderer targeting Elijah and Hawk’s past threatening to jeopardize the life he’s built, the odds aren’t in their favor. Will they come out on the other side unscathed?

Book Review

I swear I fall more in love with these rough and tough biker bad boys with each new book. This book is a continuation of the last story but focuses on a new main character as the spotlight.

In this one, Hawk is the main man of interest. He is one of King’s enforcers. King saved Hawk from a life that he was not happy with. After leaving the Navy, he became a hitman. When King offered him a new life with Salvation King’s MC, Hawk jumped at the opportunity.

The last thing Elijah ever expected to witness was someone doing something as disturbing and horrible as what he witnessed a man named Johnson do. Johnson is in jail right now but the trial is still months away and someone has been watching Elijah. For the most part he felt safe enough because his brother was staying with him, but now that Tommy has been called back to active duty, he no longer feels safe. To make things harder, Elijah cannot hear anyone if they approach him because he is deaf.

Since Tommy needs help with keeping Elijah safe, he calls his old Army buddy Hawk. Hawk is not too happy about being on babysitting duty but once he meets Elijah, he cannot help but like the man. He is sweet and has this innocence about him but he is also fierce and protective of those around him. The fact that he is a teacher helping children who are disabled the same way he is also pulls at something deep in Hawk.

It takes time for Hawk to realize that his feelings for Elijah are constantly growing and becoming stronger but once he does, he cannot turn it off. When he realizes that Elijah feels the same, all bets are off and there’s is not turning back!

When Elijah’s life is in danger, there is nothing that Hawk would not do to save him. But the real question is, how will Elijah react when he learns about Hawk’s past? How will Elijah handle that Hawk puts his life on the line on a regular basis with the MC?

This was such a great read! I love this series. With each new book the story expands. I love that each book has been about a different member of the club. I also love that with each new book, Ana makes sure you get some of the previous characters as well. I look forward to whatever Ana has up her sleeve next for this series. Amazing read for an equally amazing series!
