Book Blurb

When hot alpha cop Sean rescues an omega from being assaulted, he has no idea what fate has in store for him...not one mate, but two.

Sean meets Felix, a nerdy beta lawyer, and Gia, a sassy omega, under unexpected circumstances. He's not even looking for a boyfriend, far from it, but something sparks between them, something that's hard to define and impossible to understand rationally.

And that's not even the strangest thing happening on the ranch that offers them a safe place. The air simmers there, wild and powerful. But what is that power they all feel?

After riding out Gia's heat together, they find out what secrets the ranch holds, and they have to make a choice. How much stock do they put in fate? And is their short but explosive encounter enough to last or will their connection fizzle out?

Author's Note: Omega's Protector is set in the Irresistible Omegas universe that can be read as a stand alone and has a HEA. In the series timeline, this book fits in right after book five. It's some familiar faces for fans of the series. The characters from this book will show up in the next books in the series.

Book Review

What’s an undercover narcotics officer supposed to do when he discovers an alpha and a beta about to rape an omega? Sean does exactly what he signed on to do – protect and serve – even though it leaves him in a precarious position, career-wise, and possibly puts his heart on the line. ‘Omega’s Protector’ can be read as a standalone, but in my opinion this book should be read in order with the rest of the series. There’s far too much backstory and history to be ignored and I believe understanding everything in this novella will be more difficult without that knowledge.

Sean is an alpha and Lidon’s former partner on the force. Sean never believed the charges and accusations against Lidon and he refused to speak out against him… but he didn’t speak in defense of him, either. Sean comes from a blue-blood family where practically everyone is in law enforcement although Sean is a much more honorable man than his father and brothers. So when he comes across Gia being attacked, Sean does the right thing and whisks the omega away. Sean can smell Gia’s scent and recognizes he must have the Melloni gene, but for some unknown reason Sean isn’t overwhelmed and out-of-his-mind from it. Interesting.

Felix is the police union lawyer who was hired to replace Duer when he was attacked and tortured by members of the AWP. Duer now lives out on the ranch and when Felix gets the information from the police about what “occurred” with Sean and how many police procedures he violated, Felix’s inner alarm bells start ringing that something isn’t kosher. Naturally, he calls Duer, and between the two of them they get Sean headed to the ranch with Gia for a safe place to hide. The ranch also becomes a great place for Felix to meet them and get the real picture.

Gia is beyond grateful that Sean helped him even though he’s just as confused as to why Sean, and now Felix, aren’t raving lunatics over his scent since his heat is getting ready to begin. Gia only knows that in the short time since he has met Sean, something inside of him trusts this alpha, and it isn’t a hardship to ask Sean if he’d be willing to help him through his heat. Gia has already been informed by a doctor that the only thing that can help Gia during his heat is an alpha who is willing to forego a condom and knot him, releasing all the alpha hormones and proteins that will help Gia’s body become healthy. It doesn’t take Gia long to realize that he needs both of these men and for a lot longer than just his heat.

This is a delightful addition to the series and I was happy to revisit Sean. This story is a bit more insta-love than the others and I enjoyed it but if it had been longer, I think I would’ve liked that even more. Regardless, I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series and I truly hope the author is working on it. This has been an incredible series I was lucky enough to stumble upon and I’m very grateful that I did!
