He's always been there, whether I realized it or not.

Growing up, Izzy was the cute, geeky guy next door.

He and my twin brother were inseparable, and Izzy followed River around with hearts in his eyes.

Fifteen years after I last saw him, he moves in across the street and ends up as my last-minute date to River's wedding.

Izzy's sweet smile wins my heart, but when we get to bed, an old secret haunts me.

A stranger from video chat, an anonymous cutie who wears a costume and a mask.

Could my secret online relationship really be the same man now quivering in my hands?

And can I get past my shame about our history in time to be the man Izzy deserves?

The Geek Next Door is a sweet and steamy M/M romance with an HEA. It features a double wedding in the woods, a kitty costume, and geeky-cute fun. Read it as a standalone or as part of His Best Friend's Brother for maximum enjoyment!

Book Review

This fairly vanilla romance begins with a triple trick: the heroes, Kai and Izzy, first knew each other ten years ago, as teens. But (hang on), they have been, unknown to each other, sexting with vigor. (No! Vigor isn’t a lubricant!). And, in one final fillip, they innocently meet again and renew their old acquaintance.

Izzy, at thirty, is shy and almost virginal. Computer flirtation provides him with access to a level of anonymity that permits him exploring ‘the magic”. Kai is the less self-possessed of identical twins, and lives somewhat in the shadow of his brother. Be prepared for the eventual HEA, which follows all the soap-opera tropes, a gentle growing together, and low-key, mild steps toward sexual intimacy.

Izzy and Kai are paired socially by others, develop an attraction and, finally, realize how virally intimate the computer has made them. And their online anonymity actually covered some quirks. After a little ‘kink shaming”, the reveal embraces the usual tensions, leading to the tale’s denouement and the heroes, at last, full on, doing the dirty deed – with very nice detail.

This is an easy and pleasant read.
