Private Damien Stone is living in a nightmare. He's out on exercise on Salisbury Plain with Lance Corporal Michael Scott—who also happens to be a huge pain in the arse. He's a teacher's pet who seems to delight in bossing Stone around. But that's not the real reason Stone appears to dislike him so much. It's because Stone—who's bisexual—is seriously attracted to his superior, but he can't do anything about it, because Scott is straight. Or is he?
Short, hot and unashamedly erotic, this is a snippet from the life of two soldiers who suddenly discover they are interested in each other in a totally non-work related way. Since this happens while they are on an exercise in the middle of nowhere in southern England, they decide to give in and see what happens. Not even the impending rain can stop them.
Scott is the superior officer, and he has no idea why Stone is so reluctant to take orders. After all, they are soldiers, and that is their job, right? He forces a discussion, trying to find out the reasons, but gets quickly derailed by Stone staring at him. Just the opening move he had never dared hope for.
Stone may hate taking orders from his superior, Scott, under normal circumstances, but when he gets 'ordered' to bend over, he is only too happy to comply. And he never regrets it for a moment, his only conclusion to come better prepared next time by taking lube.
If you like short, hot stories that focus on the physical, and if fit soldiers getting out of their uniforms and forgetting where and who they are sound like a fun read, then you will probably like this short story.
