The last place these men want to be is in the limelight.

Law enforcement in Baltimore has a PR problem. Robberies, bombings, and violent crimes are on the rise. The public wants something done, and even the FBI is catching blame. When Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett accidentally become the handsome faces of the counter-offense, they find themselves the center of attention from the media . . . and a dangerous band of criminals.

Being respectable is busy work, and the added attention makes it harder than ever to keep their blossoming relationship a secret. Neither man is quite sure where they stand, or where they want to stand. Zane can’t seem to say those three little words, and Ty is too mired in his past to notice.

The bombings throughout the city are getting worse. Without any leads, Ty and Zane find themselves taking their frustrations out on each other. Being together in the shadows but hiding in the spotlight is one more stressor when they’re already taxed to the limit. As a mysterious bomber closes in, it starts to look like neither they nor their relationship has much hope for survival.

Book Review

Special FBI Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett are on the case again in 'Divide & Conquer', the fourth book in the Cut & Run series by Abigail Roux. This is another high-energy, action-packed adventure for two very capable guys.

Roux handles the action and the romance with equal aplomb. Grady and Garrett are well-matched characters in and out of bed. 'Divide & Conquer' is set against the backdrop of their home-base city of Baltimore, Maryland and filled with plenty of drama. Like other books in the Cut & Run series, 'Divide & Conquer' focuses more on the relationship between Ty and Zane than the villains in the piece.

'Divide & Conquer' also looks at the extended relationships surrounding Ty and Zane. Ty is working through his relationship with some close former military friends visiting from out of state. Zane is coping with the ramifications of Ty's confession of love in 'Fish & Chips', as well as the consequences of a physical injury.

'Divide & Conquer' flows seamlessly on the page. Zane and Ty hold center stage as they work to solve a series of crimes in Baltimore and take their relationship to a new level. It's clear that Zane and Ty have a commitment to each other both as FBI partners and lovers. Are they going to take the next step and admit to their relationship to friends and colleagues? Maybe the next chapter, 'Armed & Dangerous', will tell the tale? This is another winner for Roux.
