The men of Kiss of Leather celebrate a beginning, but will the price be another ending?

The grand opening of Kiss of Leather draws near, and the pressure is on to make sure everything is completed for the big night. Master Josh is a perfectionist, so no detail is too small for the prestigious club they’ve all worked so tirelessly on. Unfortunately, the endless demands on Josh’s time have caused him to forget the more important things in life.

David’s love for Master Josh is strong, but lately, that love is constantly tested. How can a sub in a full-time D/s relationship serve a Master who’s never there? As things continue to deteriorate between him and Josh, David wonders if maybe his Master is tired of having to care for a sub 24/7.

By the time the grand opening arrives, Josh and David seem to have worked out their differences, and David is hopeful for their future. But when an unexpected party crasher intrudes on the evening’s festivities, the men are reminded that there are still too many unanswered questions related to Corey’s kidnapping.

More than ever, the men of Kiss of Leather need to stand united. Will Josh and David be able to do the same?

Book Review

I couldn't wait to get my hands on 'Grand Opening', book four in Morticia Knight's 'Kiss of Leather' series. I have loved seeing each of the previous couples find their way and fall in love, but I've been very curious about Master Josh and David. They are already an established D/s couple who have been together for a while so I didn't get the opportunity to see them meet and fall in love. I can only imagine what the stress of opening Kiss of Leather is going to do to them and I can't wait to watch.

One of the things I get the most enjoyment from in each of the books is that the author always begins with what's going on in the lives of the couple who were the main characters in the most recent installment. That means I got a look at Stone (sinfully hot) and Marshall (my favorite bratty bottom) and could reassure myself that all was still going well in their world even as they continued to work through their issues.

A lone tear trailed down his cheek. It had nothing to do with being overwhelmed by his love for Josh. Instead, it was dangerously close to being from his fear that their love had already been lost.

Poor David and poor Josh. They've been together for five years but the last two years, and particularly the past six months, has seen Josh so focused on creating his BDSM dream club and the upcoming opening that he's forgotten what it means to have a boy. It takes Gavin reminding Josh of some very important things, but even then Josh figures it can wait until the club is open. Well, I certainly know that you can't put off forever what you need to do now. Certainly not in a loving, long-term relationship.

While Josh is dealing with his regret and disappointment in himself as a Master, and he and David are working on getting back to where they were before everything started sliding out from under them, Stone and Chuck, his associate, are still trying to identify the elusive Mike who was working with Tony in the selling of human slaves. Tony is currently in jail but they need to find all of the answers and get more proof in order to keep him there and get Mike arrested.

Oh boy. I really thought Josh was going to end up ruining everything between him and David. It was awful and I was on the edge of my seat anxiously hoping against hope that this could be fixed. Thank goodness for the Doms and subs of Kiss of Leather. They're a tight, loving family and if it wasn't for them, especially Gavin and Kyle, I think Josh could have lost David forever.

An exceptionally loving addition to the series that I greatly enjoyed. I know there'll be another book because the problem of Tony, Mike, and now a big-shot criminal defense attorney hasn't been solved yet. I loved seeing David and Josh work through their issues and reconfirm their love and commitment to each other. Sweet, sexy, hot, and very, very loving. A must-read!
