Book Blurb

Lucki Kato is a risk taker, an adrenaline junkie. Surfing, scuba diving, rock climbing. Yet his attraction to Korbin Swader is something he’s never experienced. Is a date with the sexy and arousing Korbin an adventure he’s ready to take?

Korbin has only ever chased the high of a new lover, seeking his action and adventure between the sheets. But Lucki isn’t a typical conquest. Getting Lucki means more than getting the hot Asian in his bed. It means taking the biggest risk of all, something he’s never done, something he isn’t sure he’s capable of—love. Getting Lucki once is never going to be enough.

But is Korbin just another adventure for Lucki?

Book Review

I liked this book so much, that I read it twice and I will read it again when I need a jolt of playful smexy fun featuring two beautiful, handsome men. Okay, that means I'll be revisiting this one frequently. And it's not like I don't have a healthy amount of books that I plan to read.

As we all know, male/male romance books fall into a lot of categories, ranging from little more than titillating commercials to full-blown epics involving story lines so grand that the gayness of the characters seems almost secondary. This book is what I would call a generously tasty treat.

Korbin gets Lucki is a quick read with accessible writing and enough detail given to the two highly likable lead characters and their surroundings to keep you interested in finding out how the story will play out. And after a bit of a semi-struggle, a happy ending. The author does not try to be excessively clever in voicing the two leads and his restraint pays off as the dialogue is playful, realistic, and the internal dialog is both clever and amusing.

I think this book will make a lot of readers happy, it is a cool drink on a hot summer day, quenching one's thirst for something quick, uncomplicated and tasty. This is not to say the book isn't hot... it is. It's also romantic and like a good date...leaves you imagining what will happen next. It covers the subject of what do you do when you find yourself attracted to someone who is outside of your type...do you broaden your horizons or shut down?

I for one will keep my eye out for this author's next effort and will purchase it. Thank you, Julian Dane.
