Book Review

'Snapshots' is a pleasant surprise. We know immediately that attention must be paid. The situation is unusual, but the author goes on the wonderfully describe the main characters. And the open situation – no names exchanged – becomes the basis of an anticipated future. The character development is superb and the situational platform sufficiently odd as to command the reader's commitment. And, yes, most satisfactory the sex is finely presently for this quick read! A perfect quicky.

 

'Office Hours' is another demonstration for opening with an author's coup de mots: “Nick Russo stared at the huge stack of papers, willing them to burst into flames from the force of his hatred.” By now, the reader surely knows quality writing is at hand.

 

Six shorties, without need to present their varied plots. The excellence is in character, surprise/surprising plots, and style(s) most satisfactory. Sometimes even editorial errors are fun. “Here we are talking about 'corporal' punishment and you haven't even bought me a drink.''
