Working over the holidays may be the best Christmas present ever!

San Francisco-based IT consultant Martin Bell is called to Dallas two days before Christmas to calm a nervous client. When he checks into the hotel he’ll call home for the holidays, he can’t help but notice the attractive man behind the front desk.

While checking Grindr for possible hookups, Martin is surprised to discover he’s chatting up Jose, the hot front desk guy. After an amazing night together and a sexy Xbox marathon, Martin and Jose find they might be headed toward something much more than just a holiday fling.

Book Review

I was interested to read 'Room Service' by Jeff Adams for two reasons. One, I liked the description, and two, it was my first read by this author so I thought dipping my toes in, slowly, would work very well. As it turned out, it worked out better than very well!

Marty is in town over Christmas for business, and I was hoping he made a lot of money as an executive vice president to make up for it. He meets JJ on Grindr and—surprise, surprise—JJ is none other than Jose, the assistant manager of the hotel front desk. They end up going for dinner and back to Marty's room, but he can't get over how much of a connection they seem to have.

It's really cute, actually, the way they spend Christmas Day together gaming on JJ's XBox and Halo. They talk a lot, also, getting to know each other better and since Marty's going to be in town through the first of the year, JJ accepts the challenge to teach the computer geek how to enjoy the outdoors.

This was a cute short story and very hot. I liked the getting to know you part that showed it was way more than just a hookup and I liked the way the author ended it with so many different possibilities. Thank you, Jeff!
