Book Blurb

When it comes to love, Kevin Foster can’t seem to win. Some consider him a hero, but dousing an arsonist’s attempt to burn Bronco’s to the ground puts Kevin on the vengeful criminal’s radar. Afterward, the arsonist fixates on Kevin, determined to burn away every part of Kevin’s life.

Coming to Kevin’s rescue more than once, and in more ways than one, is “MacDreamy Hotness”—firefighter Angus MacTavish. Not only is Angus smitten at first sight, he learns Kevin’s nickname for him, intriguing him further.

When Angus discovers Kevin is the arsonist’s target, he takes it upon himself to protect him at any cost. Soon Kevin works his way into a heart Angus thought he’d closed off for good. Things heat up between them, but the arsonist has no intention of letting Kevin finally find happiness. Hopefully Angus and Kevin can stop him before he reduces everything Kevin values to ash—including the love igniting between him and Angus.

Book Review

I'm sad to be starting 'Round and Round'. Unless the guys pick up a fifth best friend during this book, then this will be the last in the series. I've adored every installment, and loved seeing Bull and Zach, Lowell and Jeremy, and Tristan and Harry find each other. Now it's Kevin's turn because I think he's waited long enough. So, bring it on, Sir Andrew!

MacDreamy Hotness? Oh, that brought a giggle when I heard it. Of course, for Kevin it only brought embarrassment when Angus heard him. Personally, I think Kevin has struck gold. A fireman is hot. In fact they rank right up there as one of the top five sexiest occupations. But Kevin's fireman has a few lingering issues from childhood, and since Kevin does too, it took courage and guts for them to open up to each other.

It's not surprising that the other members of the Fab Four, Zach, Tristan, and Jeremy, along with their respective partners get involved in trying to find the arsonist and protect Kevin. I felt awful, though, when the arsonist burnt down Kevin's apartment building, trying to kill him. Instead, he ended up killing an elderly lady who was close to Kevin and it about broke my heart. Of course I also wasn't surprised when Bull, Harry, and Spooks gave Angus the "big brother" talk.

As sad as I was knowing this is probably the final book, Kevin and Angus's story was just as sweet and romantic as the others. Granted, these two main characters had a little extra when it came to personal issues, but I was so glad to see them work everything out. Great job, Andrew!
