Book Blurb

Ever since Marty had his first shift and nobody saw it, he’s kept his big, fat, Cougar secret to himself. After all, he has a great life. He has loving parents, he’s in his senior year of college, and he has a bright future in front of him. That all changes one night when he is attacked by a group of Ravens.

When Lawson sees the tall man being confronted by the Ravens, he knows he has to go help the guy. Once the fight is over, Lawson is shocked to find out that Marty is a Lost Shifter. Against Marty’s will, Lawson takes the Cougar back to the coalition for his own safety. But Marty vows he’ll escape at the first opportunity.

Will Lawson be able to convince Marty that it’s safer to stay with the coalition? If so, what will they do about their growing attraction to one another?

Book Review

It has been a while since I’ve had a glimpse of Lawson, a hawk shifter at the Coalition who despises felines and tends to be a bit of an a**hole to all of them. Lawson is understandably confused then, when he rescues a cougar from attack by a group of ravens and feels empathy and compassion for the feline.

Marty has been doing his best to hide his secret about being a shifter as he feels sure his adopted human parents would despise him and kick him out. He is surprised when a Coalition member helps him and then takes him to the Coalition for medical treatment. Of course, when Mitchell tells Marty he is a Lost Shifter and he’ll never be able to see his parents again, Marty is devastated at the loss.

It was absolutely adorable watching Lawson agree to be Marty’s mentor into all things shifter. Granted, Lawson can no longer deny his attraction and spending 24/7 with Marty is perfect. What was even better, in my opinion, was seeing bright-eyed, sweet, and pretty innocent Marty handling jaded, world-weary, and disillusioned Lawson.

A refreshing addition to the series!
