New to BDSM, Dominant Isaac learns how to bring his sub Tom to new heights during a weekend of pain and pleasure.
Now he’s admitted to his lover, Tom—and more importantly, to himself— that he’s willing to explore his Dominant side, Isaac prepares for a weekend during which both he and Tom will stay in their roles as Dominant and submissive. Isaac has a great time selecting the flogger, paddle and cane he’s planning to use.
During their special weekend, Isaac and Tom not only have lots of kinky sex, they also explore D/s outside the bedroom. They are not ready, however, to share this part of their relationship with the outside world.
How will Isaac react when an innocent moment of misunderstanding confronts him with everyday reality?
Publisher's Note: This series is about a committed and loving relationship between two men with a considerable difference in age. It contains elements of consensual BDSM.
This second book about Tom and Isaac's journey into D/s as well as some very hot BDSM, was as fascinating as the first. I think what makes it so interesting for me is that, in their case, it is the Dom who has doubts and needs to find his way. Tom is so certain he is a sub and so desperate to serve the lover he has come to see as his Master, that he almost falls over with enthusiasm. Isaac may have come to terms with the fact he is a Dom, and he readily admits he enjoys what Tom wants him to do, but he is still struggling with his fear of hurting Tom, as well as the uncertainty of the effect of this new element in their relationship on the longer term. This story is told from Isaac's point of view, and I loved finding out more about him.
Tom is the younger of the two men, he initiated the ‘kinkier play’, and is now pushing for more all the time. Topping from the bottom must be a descriptor invented for him! He also recognizes that he's doing it though, and it becomes a great measurement for their progress when Isaac gets so involved that Tom can stop worrying and really sinks into his submission. A full weekend wearing his collar, and not just in the bedroom? He can’t wait for it to happen!
Isaac may have started out doing more kinky things for Tom’s sake, but he is now ready to admit he enjoys doing the things Tom wants, as well as coming up with a few surprises. He slowly feels his way, but hates that he isn’t perfect. Reading about a scene and doing it are two very different things, and when he forgets to have water ready for Tom so he can recover, Isaac berates himself for not even being able to do proper aftercare. That in itself is the sign of a good Dom though: an ability to learn, a readiness to admit he isn’t perfect either, and a willingness to make amends.
I loved the growing trust between these men in this new way of relating to each other. As ever, what they get up to is hot, but the emotional and psychological undercurrents are what made this story special to me. If you like love stories with a significant helping of D/s, if you enjoy reading about the first, somewhat hesitant steps of a "baby Dom" into his new role, and if you're looking for a read that is as hot as it is sweet, then you will probably enjoy this short story.
