Book Blurb

Chuck Mitchum has flamed out. His career is in tatters and all his efforts to build a responsible adulthood have come crashing down around him. Now he needs a project, but Candle Bay has a long memory, and the whole town still remembers exactly who he used to be.

Niall Ashworth is struggling to keep his bookstore afloat. Should he let Chuck Mitchum fix his leaking roof and build a treehouse for Niall's nine-year-old daughter? The idea cracks open something in Niall that he thought he'd sealed for good, but he too remembers who Chuck used to be.

Will Chuck panic when he realizes Niall has become more than a project? Can Niall let his guard down far enough to give Chuck the second chance he so desperately needs? Will their emotions make the choice before their brains can process the danger that may lie ahead?

And is it already too late to stop?

On the Shelf is a warm, wisecracking small-town M/M romance about the exact moment a man built to run finally decides what's worth staying for.
