Book Blurb

Welcome to the Just One Bed bed and breakfast, where the cocoa is always served piping hot and being Christmas-themed is taken very seriously.

It's September in Sleighbell Springs, VT and things are busy, busy, busy at Just One Bed, the Sugarplum Bakery, and the Mistletoe Cafe. Along with the stress of the holiday season being right around the corner, there is a huge celebration fast approaching at the end of the month. Mal, Liam, Hawk, and Eva will be celebrating their businesses' ten year anniversary on September 28th. And they are going all out to make this a party to remember.

Despite the celebratory atmosphere, rumors flit about town that things at Just One Bed may not be all that cozy after all. There's Eva, the baker who can't get over her past and spends most nights drowning her sorrows in bourbon down at the local bar. Then there is their favorite chef, Hawk, who is making plans to run off with mister tall and broody, Liam. And lastly, there is much speculation as to whether Mal, the rugged outdoorsman, is oblivious to what's going on or just in denial.

Amongst the chaos of party planning, plus the usual cat hijinks (oh yes, did I forget to mention that they have two Maine Coones? ... Jingles and Jangles) and preparing for the upcoming holiday season, this September in Sleighbell Springs is going to be chaotic at best. Can Mal get through to Eva and pull her out of the darkness she has fallen into? Will he be able to get through to her before Hawk and Liam decide that they have had enough and leave for good this time?

Is love strong enough to survive after death has taken so much? Mal believes it is. Now he just has to convince Liam, Hawk, and Eva.
